Codeman
Codeman is a self-hosted mission control for AI coding agents that runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini, Copilot, and five more agent CLIs in persistent sessions you can watch and steer from any browser, phone included. Sessions live in tmux, so agents survive server restarts, network drops, and laptop sleep, with full scrollback replay when you return. Run up to twenty sessions as tabs or in a six-up tile grid, each streaming its real terminal with token and cost tracking, and tabs that blink when an agent goes idle or needs an answer. Idle detection re-prompts stalled agents, and when a subscription usage limit hits, Codeman parses the reset time, waits it out, and resumes the run unattended. Subagents appear as floating live windows tethered to their parent session, with real-time transcripts, token counts, and status badges. Agents can drive Codeman too, through a bundled skill, CLI verbs, and an MCP server that let one agent start, prompt, and collect answers from workers in other CLIs. Run a project in an isolated Docker container or on another machine over SSH, preview agent-created files in the browser, and reach everything from your phone with QR login and push notifications, or over Tailscale with a real certificate. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.
Benefits
- Ten agent CLIs, one dashboard
- Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, Antigravity, Gemini, Pi, Grok, DeepSeek, OMP, and GitHub Copilot run side by side in one dashboard, locally, in Docker, or over SSH.
- Agents that survive anything
- Sessions live in tmux with exactly-once input delivery and full-scrollback replay, so server restarts, network drops, and machine sleep never lose an agent's place or your instructions.
- Runs unattended for days
- Idle detection re-prompts stalled agents, scheduled jobs fire on cron, and usage-limit auto-resume waits out subscription resets, making 24-hour-plus unattended coding runs practical.
- Watch every subagent live
- Background agents and teammates appear as floating windows with real-time transcripts, token counts, model badges, and animated connection lines back to their parent session.
Features
- Multi-session tile grid
- Up to six sessions render side by side as live terminals you can type into, with headers showing the agent, model, and working or waiting status.
- Zero-lag phone terminal
- A Mosh-inspired local echo overlay gives instant keystrokes on phones, with QR login, swipe navigation between sessions, and push notifications when agents need you.
- Docker and SSH isolation
- Cases can run in hardened Docker containers (cap-drop ALL, non-root, no credential write-back) or on remote machines over SSH, under the same session tabs.
- Agent orchestration built in
- A bundled agent skill, codeman agent CLI verbs, and the codeman mcp server let one agent spawn, prompt, wait on, and harvest answers from other agents.
- Plan usage tracking
- Live header chips show five-hour and seven-day plan usage per session alongside per-session token and cost totals, with alerts before limits interrupt a run.
